Hello all, my name's Erik. However, most people call me by my last name, Gruber. I was born in Northeast Philadelphia, but I grew up in the South Jersey college town, Glassboro. Now i'm back in Philly, living in East falls. I'm a film & media arts student at Temple University. I actually made this blog as a part of my videography class. Although this blog is a course requirement, I do hope that it may take time away from my teenage-girl like Facebook obsession. Although I am a film major I do NOT intend to be a writer, director or producer. My passion has always been in sound/audio. In fact before I was a film major, for a brief period before my freshmen year I was a music education major, but later changed my mind, realizing I hated teaching. I started out recording, mixing and mastering various groups in my area, and eventually thought I would turn what my Dad considers a hobby, into something more like (and this makes him crap his pants when he thinks about it) a career! So please enjoy my content, I intend to put some of my work in various mediums on here, and I’m always open to constructive criticisms!
